I had a friend of mine emailed me a couple photos of Tyler, asking if I’d be interested in photographing him.  All I got were a couple photos of his abs and I was really excited at the prospect (you’ll get to see those in a minute).  I told him I was interested, but asked for a face pic to be sure.  It came a few minutes later and I got REALLY excited!

Tyler’s a male dancer for some of the women’s clubs here in the valley.  About as sweet as one guy could be – and completely devoted to his mom (awww).  As I spoke to him on the phone, I knew he wasn’t going to be “one of those flakey guys” that tell you they’re on their way and then call a day later to say that they got “turned around”.  I knew by our conversation that Tyler was going to do exactly what he said he was going to do.  Gotta love a man that keeps his word, especially when his word comes out of a mouth like this!

He’s a genuinely warm honest guy and was friendly from the moment he walked in the door.  But, when his shirt came off,  I think it seriously took me a minute to re-gain my – uh – composure?  He’s got an incredible torso.  Magazine worthy, seriously.  This body of his pales in comparison – though – to the smile.. ah, the smile – the eyes – the bod – GEEZ, it’s JUST not fair!  And to top it all off, he lays down on the bed while I’m on a chair – perched high above him… my 42 year old gut pressing uncomfortably into the iron canopy of my bed, camera in hand – as he pulls at his stomach, pinching the tiniest amount of perfectly toned skin from his stomach and says “I haven’t been to the gym in a while, so I guess my stomach muscles aren’t going to be as good as they usually are.”  I looked down at him and calmly said “I hate you.”
